Dr. Polczynski was raised on her family’s dairy farm in a rural town in Southern Illinois. She brings the values of hard work and dedication to her orthodontic practice.
Education and Training
- Undergraduate Degree: Dr. Polczynski attended Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois, where she spent four years on the golf team and earned her undergraduate degree in Biology.
- Dental School: She completed her dental training at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, Illinois, where she was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
- Orthodontic Residency: Dr. Polczynski pursued her orthodontic residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where she earned her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She also completed her Master of Science with a research project focused on facial esthetics.
Personal Life and Interests
Since moving to San Antonio, she has loved making the city her home with her husband, Scott, and daughter, Drew. In her free time, she loves traveling, cheering on the Longhorns and all of her other favorite sports teams, staying active, and spending as much time as possible with her family!
